How to add Sitemap Page to Blogger

Sitemap page is a very essential and important page for every blog or website. It is also very helpful when we applying for Google Adsense

There are two kinds of sitemaps. One is webmaster sitemap. We use webmaster sitemap (XML/Atom Sitemap) when we submit our sites to Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex. But in here, we use sitemap to categorize our blog posts to relevant categories or something like published date, most commented, most viewed etc. Sitemap is a map of your posts. It helps visitors to find your posts easily than using bloggers' classic blog archive. That's why we must add a sitemap page to our site. 

There are lots of ways to make a sitemap page in wordpress. Most of Wordpress themes provide a unique sitemap page. But most of free blogger themes don't have sitemap by default (Some premium themes provide a sitemap). So, let's see how to add sitemap page to blogger.


First if you don't have a idea about sitemap, please get a look through clicking demo button.

 Step: 01 

Go to Blogger dashboard.

Step: 02

Click Pages >> New Page


Step: 03


Give the title as Sitemap, then switch to HTML tab in top of left side.



Step: 04

Now copy the following HTML script and paste it in the HTML zone.




Important!


Change the http://www.blogshout24.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default with your RSS feed address. (Default RSS feed or feedburner URL)

Step: 05 

Save the page and take a look at the sitemap page. It looks pretty good.
